FAQs

What is Concrete Resurfacing?
Concrete re-surfacing is the application of a new concrete surface applied directly on top of an existing concrete surface. Until now, other than replacing the worn concrete, your only options were to paint or carpet the surface. This only looks good when they are first applied. ACS Products look great year after year. ACS Products are not only for old concrete, but for new concrete too. This will slow down the deteriorating process, extending the life of your concrete surfaces.

How Affordable is This Process?
Resurfacing your existing concrete is more affordable than the replacement of the worn or damaged concrete. Total replacement will cost you more, and without sealing the surface, in time, it will look like what you just replaced. On the other hand, re-surfacing your existing concrete surface will not only give your concrete a decorative new look, but will seal and protect your concrete from the harsh elements and chemicals, thus extending the life of the concrete.

What are the Products made of?
Not a paint or a stain, ACS products are formulated using tough acrylics, color pigments and cementitious materials. ACS Products bond permanently to concrete.

When Can These Products be Applied?
We need warm dry weather. For most of the coatings, the temperature must be above 50°F, and dry, to achieve the bonding to the existing concrete. New concrete must be at least 2 weeks old.

Do you Charge for Estimates?
No, we give free estimates. We will schedule a personalized presentation at your home, and we will give you a free estimate. Unfortunately, the coating is only as good as the concrete surface we are re-surfacing, so we cannot coat all concrete. We need to see your surface to make sure we are able to re-surface and warrant it. This is the ideal coating for new concrete, because we seal and protect these surfaces to stop them from looking old and worn. They look great too!!
